University Graduation This Weekend in the Northwest!
Another successful season wraps up in the Northwest this weekend, with 45 University students graduating from our multi-year program.
This year proved to be the best yet for programs in Oregon and Washington, with more than 500 students getting the chance to snowboard, ski and snowshoe at nine different locations.
On Friday, our friends at Evo will throw a party to recognize the hard work of the more than 100 volunteers who made this year possible, with drinks supplied by RedHook Ale Brewery.
On Saturday, students will graduate the University program, and enjoy a pot luck BBQ and slideshow to recap the season.
SOS Outreach founder and executive director, Arn Menconi, and Global Programs Director, Jon Garrou, will both be in attendance.
Again, a huge thanks goes out to our resort partners this year: Hoodoo Ski Area, Mt. Bachelor Ski Resort, Mt. Baker Ski Area, Mt. Hood Meadows Ski Resort, Mt. Hood SkiBowl, Mt. Spokane Ski and Snowboard Park, The Summit at Snoqualmie, Timberline Lodge and White Pass Ski Area.

Starting May 26-June 1, if you buy a combo meal from one of the following Taco Bell locations in Colorado (Eagle, Frisco, Glenwood Springs, Rifle), $1 will go to SOS Outreach. Last year Taco Bell raised over $3,000 through this effort for SOS programs and its hoping to double it this year. If you are near one of these Colorado locations over Memorial Day weekend, stop in, fill your belly and help some local kids get outdoors.See More
