It's Coming! Great Events Benefitting SOS

It’s coming! The snow is almost here, meaning that our kids are getting ready for another season of winter programs. There are also a number of ways that YOU can help support our programs (plus have a ton of fun at the same time)! We’re excited that so many people have stepped up to bring you great concerts, films and events to help us spread the love. Don't forget that you can get involved as a volunteer or mentor throughout the season. Visit our volunteer page to get involved. We hope to see you at one of these events or at our program days!

November 3 – Golden, CO

Epic Bash hosted by Epic Colorado Magazine

If you are in the area, check out this great show at the Buffalo Rose in Golden, Colorado. Show starts at 7:30pm on Saturday, November 3, and will feature music by Robotic Pirate Monkey, THiCK CHiCK and Sampson, as well as performances by Kubko. They will be raffling some awesome prizes including Heli-Trip spots, a Vegas trip, and Epic Passes. Raffle proceeds will benefit SOS Outreach.

November 8 – Portland, OR

Crack Grease Snowboarding is hosting the American Premier of Fool’s Gold to benefit SOS Outreach!

Come out to the Clinton Street Theater in Portland, OR on Thursday, November 8, to enjoy a great film and support a great cause. Doors open at 7pm, film begins at 8pm. $10 per person, or $5 with a good condition goggle donation.

November 9-16 – Colorado Mountains

Taco Bell Fundraising Week!

Eat Taco Bell to change a child’s life! Taco Bell locations in Eagle, Frisco, Glenwood Springs, and Rifle will donate $1 to SOS for every combo meal purchased during the week of November 9-16.

November 13 – Westminster, CO

Rock Bottom Brewery Annual November Tapping!   

Come on Tuesday, November 13th at 6pm for their Winter Ale Tapping and the

Silent Auction and Raffle to benefit SOS Outreach

5^th Annual Friends of SOS Pledge Campaign Launches November 13

Between November 13 and January 13 we are asking friends and supporters to set up personal fundraising pages. It’s easy to set up a page on GivingFirst and thanks to our corporate sponsors we are able to reward your efforts with some sweet prizes. Plus, GivingFirst ensures that 100% of every donation goes directly to SOS. Help us reach our $25,000 goal and spread the love!

December 4 – Nationwide

Colorado Gives Day

On December 4th, all donations made through GivingFirst, no matter where you live, will be enhanced by the FirstBank Incentive Fund. In memory of Tom Sims, Sims Snowboards will be matching $6,000 on Colorado Gives Day through the Tom Sims Legacy Fund. This guarantees that more than 100% of your gift will go directly to SOS Outreach.
