FDRD volunteers! Come celebrate your contribution this Saturday with FDRD!
Join Friends of the Dillon Ranger District for a fun day as they celebrate YOU, their AMAZING volunteers, while continuing to give back to our National Forest lands.
The day begins at 8:00AM Saturday, the 26th at Windy Point parking lot with coffee and bagels and a morning project in the Swan Mountain Road area. We will be replanting trees in Prospector CG, installing interpretive signs at Sapphire Point, and cleaning up Swan Mountain Rd.
At noon-ish at the Windy Point Pavilion, a BBQ picnic and "Volunteer Incentive Program" (V.I.P.) acknowledgment ceremony gives FDRD another opportunity to thank all their wonderful volunteers - including their Forest Stewards!
FDRD Volunteer Incentive Program (VIP): 3 ways to earn VIP tickets for incredible prize give-aways
1) Volunteer - for every project you participate in this summer, you are awarded one VIP ticket!
2) Donate – if you become a donor the day you volunteer you are awarded two VIP tickets!
3) Recruit – for every future donor (including yourself) or volunteer that joins FDRD due to your referral/recruitment efforts...you will receive an additional V.I.P. ticket!
At our Volunteer Celebration you can choose from a host of incredible prizes in which to enter your VIP tickets.

Starting May 26-June 1, if you buy a combo meal from one of the following Taco Bell locations in Colorado (Eagle, Frisco, Glenwood Springs, Rifle), $1 will go to SOS Outreach. Last year Taco Bell raised over $3,000 through this effort for SOS programs and its hoping to double it this year. If you are near one of these Colorado locations over Memorial Day weekend, stop in, fill your belly and help some local kids get outdoors.See More
