Fall is here and Winter soon to follow!
Greetings Friends,
Well it's another beautiful day in the valley and as I'm sure we have all noticed the temperatures are starting to drop. Fall is upon us! This will be my first fall spent outside of NH, which will be interesting and a bit sad at the same time. New England falls for me have always been a welcome friend . A break from the heat and humidity of the summer and the signaling of sweater season. Everyone loves a good sweater day! Most of all though I think I will miss the rolling hills, field stone walls, and miles of brightly colored trees as the leaves begin to change.
But with the changing of the seasons here in the valley I have turned my focus to other areas of interest. And I'm not talking about colorful leaves and cardigans - I'm talking about skiing! There is a buzz in the air and prep for winter programs is full steam ahead. Today in the SOS office we just finished stuffing the envelopes which will be sent out to all new and returning University students. Needless to say I am extremely excited about my first winter in the valley and my first winter working with SOS!
