(Day 1: Courage) Nice To Meet You
Day 1 was awesome, we met our kids for the first time, The spirit of the Salmon Group. I was immediately impressed with their courtesy, dedication and discipline. The whole group had such great perseverance to get up and keep going, I have never seen anyone fall as hard and get back up with a smile to do it again. Everyone had a positive attitude and the support for each other was amazing. Well done team. Great first day, I can’t wait for next week.
My favorite story about courage for the day was: Aloma our little cheerleader (age 6) had a great story she shared with me during dinner about what she thought was courage, she explained how when she was at school one time she was playing with her friends and noticed a girl that no one was playing with so she decided to ask the girl to play even though her friends might not have wanted her to. (awesome story from a 6yr old)

Starting May 26-June 1, if you buy a combo meal from one of the following Taco Bell locations in Colorado (Eagle, Frisco, Glenwood Springs, Rifle), $1 will go to SOS Outreach. Last year Taco Bell raised over $3,000 through this effort for SOS programs and its hoping to double it this year.
