Chris Anthony and SOS visit ECCA!!
Hello Fellow SOS'ers!
Yesterday was a really exciting day for SOS (and me). Chris Anthony and SOS went to visit Eagle County Charter Academy in Edwards, CO and spoke to the entire 3rd grade class about the great opportunities in skiing and with SOS. The students watched some clips of Chris doing what he does best, making some epic turns and amazing feats on his skis and with pals across the globe, as well as talking to the students about setting goals and what it means to have courage. As one of our core values (courage) the students were really great and excited about sharing their stories on how they have used courage in their own lives, even at the young ages of 8!
It was really amazing to be there and watch Chris do his thing with the students, talk about SOS and all the amazing things we are doing in the community and how the students can get involved...so thanks to Chris! The kids asked some great questions too. They seemed eager to learn and begin setting goals. Way to go!
I definitely think we had some future SOS'er's in the crowd, and some rippers too.
