Breck Free RideTeam nd Summit Universty Youth
Last Night Summit County University youth who have displayed the core values and fulfilled and the SOS Curriculum and requirements had the opportunity to meet and train with members of the Breckenridge Free Ride Team. Free Ride Members Ryan Thompson, Leslie Glenn, Jake and Zack Black met with the youth and worked out with them. The Free Ride Members talked to the youth about the goals they have set in life to get to where they are today. They also taught the youth how important it is to live an active life not only to be better skiers and snowboarders but to enjoy fun activities. They taught the youth about the importance of training so that there body can be in better shape and help prevent injuries while they are out skiing and snowboarding.
A BIG THANK YOU goes to Scott Ferguson for setting it up. Scott is a coach and owner at Equipped Fitness. Scott has taught our fitness workshop in the past for our year 3 students. The youth had a great evening and the Pros even gave the youth some swag!

Starting May 26-June 1, if you buy a combo meal from one of the following Taco Bell locations in Colorado (Eagle, Frisco, Glenwood Springs, Rifle), $1 will go to SOS Outreach. Last year Taco Bell raised over $3,000 through this effort for SOS programs and its hoping to double it this year.
