Seth Ehrlich SOS and the X-Games

Over the past week, I received three great thank you letters from Yampah School District Students who had the opportunity to attend the ESPN X-Games in Aspen in January. The X-Games not only hosted SOS throughout the weekend with a booth in their village, they also invited a group of SOS participants out on the hill for a day.

The participants were all graduates from a Learn to Ride program at Sunlight Mountain this year and were excited to have another day on the hill. The X-Games p… Continue

Karen Parra Leadership

I made a different one before but i didn't really like it but here is my new one, My school principal, Jeremy Lowe has really inspired me because he came into Vail Christian knowing the economic situation that the school was in. Right now we are in point where we are at risk of losing our school because we cant pay off the loans and i truly admire Mr. Lowe because instead of walking out on our school he stays there and tries his best to fix everything and keep all of the students hopes up. He is… Continue

Levi Joe Ernest Influential leader

"The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear." Nelson Mandela

I admire Nelson Mandela because his ability to advocate for a cause that he believes in. He has received over 250 awards, and most significant was the Nobel Peace Prize in 1993. He fought for equality in South Africa and was not afraid to stand up for a cause. This quote shows N

Seth Ehrlich Rep. Christine Scanlan Supports Getting Kids outdoors

Who wouldn't envy a kid growing up in the mountains? There is fresh air to play in, mountains to explore and plants and animals to learn about.

This opportunity, however, should not be limited to only those kids who are fortunate enough to reside in the high country. That's why I'm proud to introduce HB 1131, The Colorado Kids Outdoors Bill, which will help ensure that every child in Colorado has the chance to experience all the natural wonders and opportunity that our great state ha… Continue
