Please keep the Matlock family in your thoughts and prayers right now. Jennie Matlock was involved in an awful car accidnet Monday night and is in the ICU in a hospital in Denver. Jenni has been an outstanding Junior Mentor for the Summit program this winter and we hope for a full recovery.

Also keep the youth at Summit High School and Middle School in your thoughts because they are going through hard times with the loss of another studnet also involved in the accident, as well as…

What a Meeting we had last night in Summit County. The year 3 University groups are nailing down projects. There are 40 year 3 youth in Summit and they have broken into 3 groups with these topics: 1. Youth Mental Health  2.Underage drinkin, smoking and tobacoo use 3. Pine Beetle

It has been an amazing week in Summit County in the world of SOS! The week started with a Year 2 Fitness workshop lead by a few of our wonderful Sherpa's. Youth learned the importance of staying fit so they can continue to participate in snowsports for many, many years. Then Tuesday our Year 3 Students finalized there Year 3 Community Issue Topics. They are Pine Beetle, Youth Mental Health, Underage Drinking/ Alcohol and Drug Abuse, and Rape. I can't wait to see all the great things of youth… Continue
