This winter Mt Baker is the proud host of its first ever SOS Outreach Learn to Ride session! Students from the Lummi Youth Rec program will get to participate in 2 days of snowshoeing and 3 days of snowboarding courtesy of Mt. Baker Instruction.The first day at Mt Baker went off without a hitch. SOS Outreach Resort Coordinator - Northstar-at-Tahoe 08/09
This past winter Northstar-at-Tahoe hosted an SOS Outreach LTR Session for its second year. The program benefitted a great group of teens from the Truckee Meadows Boys and Girls Club in Reno.
I'm already looking for some good folks in the North Lake Tahoe region that are interested in participating in next years session!

Starting May 26-June 1, if you buy a combo meal from one of the following Taco Bell locations in Colorado (Eagle, Frisco, Glenwood Springs, Rifle), $1 will go to SOS Outreach. Last year Taco Bell raised over $3,000 through this effort for SOS programs and its hoping to double it this year. If you are near one of these Colorado locations over Memorial Day weekend, stop in, fill your belly and help some local kids get outdoors.See More
