Hi my name is Tony Hernandez and I have just graduated from Vail Mountain School and will be attending Lehigh University this fall. The imatter video really causes you to think about how you impact the environment. It also forces you to consider changing simple things and how they can help the environment.

I really like the at the core video because it really illustrates the core values. I like that the kids in the video are shown doing various activities and thus encouraging those who watch the video to get active themselves.

Pursuing your passions and learning along the way.

SOS Outreach consists of five days on the mountain for each of which there is a core value that students try to learn about throughout the day. The core values used by SOS are Courage, Discipline, Integrity, Wisdom, and Compassion. There are also days spent off the mountain. Students receive an orientation into the program where they meet their Sherpas, Junior Sherpa, and peers. Participants also perform community service such as Salvation Army Thanksgiving Baskets.
