Wilderness Trips
Experience the Colorado backcountry with our seven-day wilderness trip. Backpacking, rock climbing, peak ascent, team building and learning about the natural environment are all part of the adventure!
Participants begin the trip preparing at the Minturn base camp and teams course. Here campers learn equipment orientation and distribution before departing for the five additional days in a back country adventure. Campers will learn teamwork, leadership, wilderness and life skills, returning home with broadened horizons and a greater sense of self.
Minimum age: 12 years old
Group size: 5-12 (multiple trips may be booked together to accommodate larger sized groups)
Scheduling: Available year-round as a 2-10 day trip, May-August are the most popular months.
*Meals, equipment, and professional instruction are included.
*A typical trip includes 11 youth, 2 adult chaperones, and 2 professionally-trained
instructors.
*Financial aid scholarship are available upon request.
