Set-up a Fundraising Page
Below are directions on how to set up your web page, instructions on how your friends and family can contribute, and incentives for your efforts
Fundraising for SOS is simple. All you need to do is set up a donation page through GivingFirst, then tell everyone why SOS is important to you and ask for donations. Here are some directions for how to get started:
- Go to givingfirst.org/sosoutreach and click on the “Fundraise Now; For this Charity” button on the left side of the page.
- Click the “Create Account” button on the bottom of the page.
- Select SOS Outreach on the “Campaigns/Events” Tab.
- Fill in your information.
- Once you have created a page you can add a personal testimonial, pictures and upload videos. here is one of our favorites.
- Create a URL link so people can find your page: start with “sospledge” then add your name.
- Make sure you check the “make this live” box and you’re on your way!
SOS has plenty of resources and examples of text you can send out to your friends and family if you are feeling stumped.

Starting May 26-June 1, if you buy a combo meal from one of the following Taco Bell locations in Colorado (Eagle, Frisco, Glenwood Springs, Rifle), $1 will go to SOS Outreach. Last year Taco Bell raised over $3,000 through this effort for SOS programs and its hoping to double it this year. If you are near one of these Colorado locations over Memorial Day weekend, stop in, fill your belly and help some local kids get outdoors.See More
