SOS Outreach is a youth development charity. Our mission is to
inspire youth to make positive decisions for successful lives.
All SOS Outreach programs offer our value-based leadership
curriculum that enhances the experience for students by promoting
self-respect, positive relationships, social skills, and positive
values. Students discover the meaning of our 5 core values:
courage, discipline, integrity, wisdom, and compassion. SOS Sherpas
(adult mentors) encourage the students to uncover the way these
values affect their everyday actions.
Throughout our growth, SOS Outreach has successfully leveraged
partnerships with youth agencies, mountain resorts, the
US Forest Service and donors
to increase the number of youth served. In the 2008 - 2009 season,
4,000 youth participated in SOS programs.
