A nonprofit building character in youth through outdoor adventure

Explorer Program

*Colorado Specific
The Explorer Program allows youth to experience a variety of activities, such as stand-up paddleboarding, rock climbing, mountain biking (10 years or older), teams course and hiking. This program is ideal for participants who do not want an overnight experience, but would rather become acquainted with different daytime activities.

This is a six-day program in which the participants will begin with one day of stand-up paddleboarding. They will continue later in the week with two days of rock climbing, one day of hiking and one day of teams course. If the participant is 10 years old or older he/she will participate in one day of mountain biking. These are not consecutive days, but rather are spread out over a four week period. The participant will be with the same group for all activities.
Minimum age:     8 years old (must be 10 years or older for mountain biking)
Group size:         10- 13
Scheduling:         Available June-August

                             *Equipment and professional instruction included

Full Belly Fundraising with Mountain Area Taco Bells!

Starting May 26-June 1, if you buy a combo meal from one of the following Taco Bell locations in Colorado (Eagle, Frisco, Glenwood Springs, Rifle), $1 will go to SOS Outreach. Last year Taco Bell raised over $3,000 through this effort for SOS programs and its hoping to double it this year. If you are near one of these Colorado locations over Memorial Day weekend, stop in, fill your belly and help some local kids get outdoors.See More
