Collaboration

Collaboration Efforts

SOS Outreach strongly believes in strengthening alliances between local community youth serving agencies and national outdoor youth development programs through collaborative efforts to best serve underprivileged youth and ensure the use of best practices in the field.

The Active Youth Alliance (AYA) is a partnership of sports-based youth development organizations, manufacturers and industry trade organizations. Corporate philanthropy and customer development within the outdoor sports industry is currently fragmented. Just as companies have banded together to form larger buying groups and gain better prices on goods, we should take similar steps to ensure we can effectively leverage individual corporate expenditures and philanthropy to secure greater federal and foundation dollars while connecting with population segments that will make up the next generation of consumers for our industry.

The Eagle County Youth Collaborative (ECYC) is a partnership of Eagle County youth serving organizations including the school district, non-profits and government. The purpose of ECYC is to address the academic achievement gap of students enrolled in Eagle County schools and adolescents' mental, emotional and behavioral issues through its incubation of an Early Warning System and Single Point of Entry system.

Welcome Pat, I just created a new profile as well.  If you have photos from years past, this would be a great place to post them.  See you this weekend!
